On Thursday, March 12th, arts advocates packed Council Chambers as the Regional Arts & Culture Council presented its annual “State of the Arts” report, a summary of accomplishments in 2008 and the arts community’s challenges and opportunities moving forward. In addition, several citizens provided powerful testimony about the importance of arts and culture in our community.
